Relaxing music, educational. I bought this after reading a review from an 11 year old boy who ranked it (in his opinion) as one of the 2 best wii games (his other favorite was mario kart).
We have not been disappointed. After a breaking-in period of learning the commands for swimming and interacting with the animals, our entire family loves this game and the kids will spend hours exploring the ocean if given the opportunity. Others in the room are also sucked into the experience even when not playing. Lots of educational value for kids who can read independently, but my younger ones still enjoy moving the diver through the water. Great for reading children and adults. I think most adults will become bored with the repetitiveness of the game in about 10 minutes. My 5 year old daughter loves it however.
She will swim around for an hour straight, and only stops then because we tell her too. She loves petting and feeding the fish. The game is a little more complicated than the description makes it sound. It's not just swimming. You have to pilot the boat, feed the fish, talk with the other people in the game. But it's good for small kids. Children who can't read well yet will need a little help to play.
