The Sims 4 City Living Guide

The Sims 4: City Living is an excellent addition to the core, and possibly the best apartment-themed expansion in series history. It’s also the best add-on The Sims 4 has produced yet. Many of its ideas are recycled from previous iterations, but what’s new takes the series forward in interesting ways. Tramp tower construction simi valley.

Some games you'll find a good weapon early, other times you'll rely on wands or potions or spells.You don't see it much in the all-action video above, but some of the most fun is had just standing still trying to work out how to get out of a sticky situation. Wazhack finger of death. With over 150 different monsters, many with unusual attacks, you will find plenty of sticky situations!The procedurally-generated dungeon and vast array of possible items gives immense replay value.

    The posters are not located in cardboard boxes. I don't know what to call them, but the posters are in these steel utility boxes in the street that house the wiring for the buildings of SM. You'll sometimes see a landlord tinkering with one of them to fix the electricity. Just go to a community lot and look around for a grey metal 'box' that looks like it has a cover on it and click on it (there is usually only one per lot).
    If you're having trouble, wait in any area of SM to see when a landlord turns up and tinkers with one.

  • Thanks for the info on collecting the CL posters. I would also like to know how you can collect snow globes.
    I had one household that had the completed collection of snow globes in their inventory, but I don't remember having any of them collecting them in my game. Do they do this autonomously?

    The snow globes can be found in brown cardboard boxes on the ground. There is at least one that I am aware of on the sidewalk outside of the park at the Old Salt House.
    I had one household that had the completed collection of snow globes in their inventory, but I don't remember having any of them collecting them in my game. Do they do this autonomously?

    I think this happens when your sims are assigned as a vendor at the flea market tables. When the flea market ends, whatever they were selling at the table winds up in their inventory. I think, but I'm not sure.

    To get images to show, you need to get the image URL of the picture, then paste it into your post using the little picture icon or surrounding it with the tag, like this:
    I think this is why a place like Photobucket is better for images (even though it gets buggy and slower at times), because it gives you the code to copy and paste your images.

    Then I ran into this fella at the flea market and bought all his snowglobes. So they are there, but the boxes just don't appear. Plus I've never seen the Raccoon guy.
    'I'm not saying Stuff Packs thrill me to my wretched, rotting core. I'm just saying that we only get one expansion pack a year because Devs only have one pair of hands. You want to buy more half-finished packs like Get To Work? Do you?'
  • You can also buy the snow globes during the festivals .. the ones that sell the t-shirts and fire crackers will also have a globe for sale.

    If you have cc/mods in your game, move your mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and see if the issues are still there
    Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then copy back the 'options.ini' or ' options ' file and the 'saves' , 'screenshots' 'tray' 'custom music ' and 'mods' folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder.

    I've never seen the raccoon guy. Guess my sims will have to spend more time exploring the city. Does he only clean up in the festival areas?

    I've never seen the raccoon guy. Guess my sims will have to spend more time exploring the city. Does he only clean up in the festival areas?

    I always see the raccoons show up in the wee hours of the morning at the park in the Spice District. If you have your sim hang out there late at night and sit out till morning, you might see one or two turn up to root through the trash bins.

  • I've seen them all over out and about the City, mostly at night. I've never seen them 'clean up' though. I've only ever seen them root through the trash bins or sleep on benches.
